Safety training and education are always on the way - Yijia Beihai Branch organizes special training on preparation matters for inspection and maintenance operations

On January 19, 2024, from 15:00 to 16:00, the Safety Department of Yijia Beihai Branch organized a special training on preparation matters for inspection and maintenance operations for workshop and department heads and equipment safety officers. This training aimed to address issues such as incomplete construction plans, incomplete data, incorrect material logic, and unclear responsibilities in the preparation work for maintenance and repair operations, with the aim of ensuring that the company carries out maintenance and repair operations in an orderly, safe, and efficient manner.

Firstly, safety officer Zhao Zhijie reported on the list of materials and common issues in the construction plan that need to be prepared before maintenance operations, such as unclear construction steps, incomplete tool lists, confusing text formats, incorrect responsible persons, and errors in material and time logic. He also provided a simple division of responsibilities for the relevant work.

Vice Minister of Safety, Zhang Linlin, provided a detailed explanation and specific requirements on how to describe the operation steps, identify risks, develop safety measures and emergency plans in the construction plan by comparing the initial and final draft of the recent construction plan. She also pointed out that there will be periodic special training on the preparation work for maintenance and the implementation process of maintenance in the future.

At the end of the training, Equipment Minister Liu Bangxi put forward requirements for future inspection and maintenance work: the company's inspection and maintenance operations, whether third-party or internal, must be approved and operated in accordance with the company's relevant regulations and standardized operating procedures. It is strictly prohibited to expand the scope of work without authorization, and illegal operations are strictly prohibited.

After the training was completed, the heads of each department, workshop, and equipment safety officer had sufficient communication with the equipment department and safety department regarding the difficulties in the preparation process for inspection and maintenance operations.
